National Day of Truth and Reconciliation at King’s

Yesterday, King’s students and staff wore orange pins for the first national day of Truth and Reconciliation. This day honours the lost children and Survivors of residential schools, their families and communities.

We collected donations from all and have supported the Ilisaqsivik Society of Clyde River in Nunavut, a group who trains Inuit to help other Inuit, especially to overcome the trauma of residential schools 🧡
