Ontario Students’ Application Process

King’s College School is a school for engaged, motivated, and bright children. We offer highly- personalized schooling for each child and enroll students at any point throughout the school year.

Our admissions process is as follows:

  1. Contact the Admissions office to arrange a visit to the school. Admissions can be reached by phone at 647-526-7645 or by email at [email protected].
  2. Visit the school for a tour  and complete an Application for Admission. Meet with our Director of Admissions for a Family Interview with you as the parent(s)/guardian(s) and your child, if appropriate. Offers of Admission are based on the results of the Student Assessment and the Family Interview.
  3. Submit the required documents for the Student Assessment.

Out of Province Students’ Application Process

King’s College School is ideally suited for engaged, motivated, and bright children. King’s College School welcomes students from across Canada who are looking for the opportunity to learn in an empowering environment. Out-of-province students will stay with carefully selected, warm and welcoming home-stay families. Home stay is only available to children aged 12 and up.

We offer highly-personalized schooling for each child and enroll students at any point throughout the school year.

  2. Visit the school for a tour  and/or complete an Application for Out-of-Province Admission.
  3. Submit the required documents for the Student Assessment.
  4. Meet with the Director of Admissions for a Family Interview with you as the parent(s)/guardian(s) and your child, either in person or by Skype. Offers of Admission are based on the results of the Student Assessment and the Family Interview.

International Students’ Application Process

King’s College School is ideally suited for engaged, motivated, and bright children. King’s College School welcomes students from around the world who are looking for the opportunity to learn in an empowering environment. Out-of-country students will stay with carefully selected, warm and welcoming home-stay families who will provide a completely immersive Canadian experience for international students. Home stay is only available to children aged 12 and up. Children must be fully fluent in English in order to be admitted to King’s College School.

We offer highly-personalized schooling for each child and enroll students at any point throughout the school year.

Our admissions process is as follows:

  2. Visit the school for a tour  and/or complete an Application for International Admission.
  3. Submit the required documents for the Student Assessment.
  4. Meet with the Head of School, Mr. John Eta, for a Family Interview with you as the parent(s)/guardian(s) and your child, either in person or by Skype, Zoom or WhatsApp. Offers of Admission are based on the results of the Student Assessment and the Family Interview.

International students do require a study permit to study in Canada. Upon the receipt of the payment of student fees, the student will be sent a Letter of Acceptance which is needed to apply for their student visa. King’s College School is happy to offer support and guidance during the visa application process; however, as we are not an agent of the government, we cannot act on either the family’s or the Canadian government’s behalf. Virtual Students’ Application Process

Since March 2020, King’s College School has offered full, synchronous learning programs online to both elementary and secondary students. We have welcomed many students to our Virtual School from northern Ontario, the U.S.A., and eastern Canada. Students can become part of the Virtual School from anywhere with a strong internet connection.

Our admissions process is as follows:

  2. Visit the school for a tour  and complete an Application for Admission. Meet with our Director of Admissions for a Family Interview with you as the parent(s)/guardian(s) and your child, if appropriate. Offers of Admission are based on the results of the Student Assessment and the Family Interview.
  3. Submit the required documents for the Student Assessment.
  4. If the school is not within a reasonable traveling distance, virtual tours are available and interviews can be conducted via Zoom meeting with the Director of Admissions.
