International students do require a study permit to study in Canada.  Upon the receipt of the payment of student fees, the student will be sent a Letter of Acceptance which is needed to apply for their student visa. King’s College School is happy to offer support and guidance during the visa application process; however, as we are not an agent of the government, we cannot act on either the family’s or the Canadian government’s behalf.  All the information that international families need to apply for a student visa can be found at http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/student.asp
